Fees

Sessions cost $170 and last 50 minutes. Other services (e.g., telephone calls over 15 minutes, writing letters or reports) will be billed at $170/hour, prorated based on the time needed. These fees will be discussed and agreed to ahead of time.

Non-Insured Health Benefits

If you are covered by Non-Insured Health Benefits or Victim Services we would be happy to help you. All of our counsellors are registered therapists with both of these programs.

Insurance Rebates

You may be able to claim a rebate for your sessions. Private health insurers may provide rebates for your counselling sessions. Please confirm your level of coverage with your health insurer. Most of our counsellors are and their services are typically covered under the majority of benefit plans and a receipt would be issued. All insurance plans are different and we encourage you to reach out to your provider to ensure, that you will be covered by the Registered Social Workers.

Check with your insurance provider to see what they cover. If you’re using insurance, you’ll pay for the session at the end of your appointment. I’ll give you a receipt that you can use to seek reimbursement from your provider.

Payment Methods

Payments for appointments can be made using a credit card or Interac e-transfer. Credit card payments are processed through our secure practice management system.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments that are missed or cancelled without 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee.
